Services

Heating & cooling, start to finish.

Installation, replacement, repair and care, in three groups: heat, cool and happy.

HeatFurnaces and heat pumps for Cumberland Valley winters.

Heat pumps

A heat pump moves heat instead of burning fuel to make it: it pulls warmth from outdoor air into the house in winter and reverses in summer. Modern units perform well in our climate; on the coldest nights a backup heat source or a hybrid setup picks up the slack. We size every system to the home, looking at square footage, insulation and duct layout.

  • New installs and replacements
  • Heat pump repair
  • Hybrid (dual-fuel) setups with a furnace backup
  • Sizing from square footage, insulation and ducts

Gas furnaces

Gas equipment involves combustion and venting, so we don’t cut corners on safety checks, even if it means the job takes a little longer. Every install includes a home evaluation, a look at your ductwork for leaks or airflow issues, removal of the old furnace, tested gas and venting connections, and safety testing of the gas valve, flame sensor and ignition.

  • Furnace installation and replacement
  • Furnace repair
  • Gas line and venting connections, tested
  • Gas valve, flame sensor and ignition safety testing

Oil furnaces

Oil systems store and burn fuel differently than gas, and most oil furnace problems start at the fuel line, the tank or the flue. Our installs include a home evaluation, a check of the existing ductwork, safe removal of the old furnace, a fuel line and tank inspection, and nozzle, burner and flue setup tested to burn clean and draft properly.

  • Oil furnace repair
  • Fuel line and oil tank inspection
  • Nozzle, burner and flue setup

Garage heaters

We look at the garage’s size, insulation and how you use it, then match the system: a ductless mini split for year-round heating and cooling, an electric or infrared heater for quick warmth in a workshop, or a gas-fired unit. Electrical and gas work is done to code, with proper clearances and venting.

  • Ductless mini splits for year-round use
  • Electric and infrared heaters
  • Gas-fired garage heaters
  • Sized to how you use the space

CoolCentral air and ductless systems for sticky valley summers.

Central air conditioning

A properly sized central air system keeps the whole house comfortable through hot, humid summers: no window units, no hot upstairs bedrooms. We walk the house to size the system, remove the old equipment (window units included), install it, and walk you through the thermostat and settings before we call the job done.

  • New central air installation
  • Replacement of aging systems
  • Central A/C repair
  • Window unit removal and disposal

Ductless mini splits

An outdoor unit connects to one or more indoor units through a small line, with no ductwork needed. Single-zone systems handle one space; multi-zone systems run several indoor units from one outdoor unit, each with its own control. We size each one carefully, especially in additions and converted spaces with less insulation.

  • Single-zone and multi-zone systems
  • Heating and cooling from one unit
  • Additions, sunrooms, finished attics and basements
  • Room-by-room control

HVAC system replacement

When a system is on its last leg, a full replacement can cost less than repair after repair. Replacement includes a full system evaluation and load calculation, removal of the old heating and cooling equipment, and a new system properly sized for the house. Through direct partnerships we install ACiQ, Oxbox by Trane and Goodman equipment. Most residential changeouts are finished in a day, and you get a clear timeline before work begins.

  • Most homes finished in a day

HappyAir, humidity and care that make a house feel right.

Maintenance plan

Two visits, timed right: one in spring before the summer heat and one in fall before the cold sets in, when your system is about to work its hardest. Both visits include a full inspection and cleaning, and plan members get priority scheduling during peak season. Regular maintenance can also be required to keep manufacturer warranties valid.

  • Spring and fall tune-ups
  • Full inspection and cleaning each visit
  • Priority scheduling
  • Open to new customers

Humidity control & steam humidifiers

A humidistat watches moisture the way a thermostat watches temperature. When the air is too dry, a whole-home humidifier adds moisture as the blower runs; when it’s too humid, the system pulls it out. Steam humidifiers make their own moisture with electrodes instead of relying on furnace heat, so they work as well with a heat pump as with a gas furnace.

  • Whole-home humidity control
  • Steam humidifiers (work with heat pumps)
  • Humidistat control tied into your system
  • No portable units to fill

Whole-home dehumidifiers

A whole-home dehumidifier ties into your ductwork, pulls moisture from return air, sends dry air back out through the supply ducts, and drains on its own line, so there’s no bucket to empty. Signs you need one: a musty basement, condensation on windows or pipes, mold or mildew in damp areas, or a portable unit you empty every day.

  • Ducted whole-home units
  • Basements and crawlspaces
  • Dedicated drain line
  • Runs alongside your existing system
Ask about whole-home dehumidifiers

Whole-home air purification

Because your HVAC system keeps circulating the same air, a whole-home purifier treats it again and again through the day instead of once in one room. Advanced filtration captures dust, pollen, pet dander and mold spores; activated carbon helps absorb cooking, pet and household odors; and less buildup reaches your ducts and coils.

  • Advanced whole-home filtration
  • Activated carbon for odors
  • Works continuously with your system
  • Helps protect ducts and coils
